We are currently looking for a technical superintendent to support our team:

  • Your responsibilities:

    The Technical Superintendent is the main link between the office and the vessel in respect of any technical matters.

    The duties include but are not limited to:

    • Monitoring the state of maintenance of the assigned vessels.

    • Supervision and following-up of shipboard activities.

    • Preparing and supervising maintenance schedules in close cooperation with the ship’s command.

    • Monitoring and assisting with the procurement and landing of goods for the assigned vessels.

    • Arranging for repairs and technical services,

    • Liaison with class, flag and port state authorities,

    • Participation at projects and development of technical solutions.

    • Preparation, on-site supervision and follow-up of vessel dry docks and similar repairs.

    • Regular vessel inspection visits and on-site representation of the company.

    • Dry-Docking preparations and execution

    • Assuring the vessel’s operational capability in all technical aspects

    • Reporting any kind of disturbances and non-compliances within the organization

    • Rectification of disturbances and non-compliances.

    • Compliance with relevant statutory rules and regulations and industry requirements.

    • Annual Budget planning and continuous OPEX budget control for the assigned vessels

    Your profile:

    • Fluent high proficiency in English (written and orally)

    • Graduated as marine engineer, or licensed chief engineer, or

    • Graduated mechanical engineer with substantial technical knowledge, with proven work experience of min. 5 years in a similar position,

    • Preferable experience as chief or second engineer

    • Cot awareness and commercial experience

    • Team player
